Old Takoma Business Association Awards Micro-Grants to Takoma Businesses

The Old Takoma Business Association has awarded $5,500 in Micro-Grants to Takoma businesses. This investment furthers the organization’s commitment to the small businesses in the community and goal of creating a vibrant commercial district.

Offered in increments of $500, these small grants have become seed money to initiate over $15,000 in planned improvements in Takoma businesses. Businesses intend to use the money for new windows, signs, lighting, floors, security systems, and more.
