Takoma Pride Day is Sunday, June 9, 2024
We are celebrating our LGBTQ+ community during Takoma Pride Day on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm with a Kids’ Pride Parade and Street Fair on Laurel Avenue.
Special thanks to the City of Takoma Park for its support.
10:00 am Kids Pride Parade
A Kids Pride Parade will start at the TPSS Co-op, 201 Ethan Allen Avenue at 10:00am (meet at 9:30am). All welcome to join and share messages of Pride! The parade will end on Laurel Ave.
10:00 am – 2:00 pm Street Fair

- Chalk the Block
- Visitors are encouraged to share messages of Pride on Laurel Avenue where there will be chalk available in the closed street.

Kids Pride Parade
A Kids Pride Parade will start at the TPSS Co-op, 201 Ethan Allen Avenue at 10:00am (meet at 9:30am). We will provide posters and markers for poster making. All welcome to join and share messages of Pride!
Parade Route: Start 201 Ethan Allen Avenue south to Carroll Avenue to Laurel Avenue. Parade ends at the Street Fair on Laurel Avenue.
Free Poster Making for the Takoma Pride Parade
Get ready for the parade! On Saturday, June 8, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: The Loft is hosting a free poster making session at its studio at 7007 Carroll Ave.
At the Street Fair, we will enjoy a visit by the fabulous Tara Hoot!

Street parking is free. Parking lot at the corner of Carroll and Willow Avenues, $5.
