In the yoga fundamentals workshop, Natalie will take students through foundational yoga postures, working on the alignment and enabling participants to get the adjustments they need to practice the postures effectively and safely. Each pose will be broken down in detail, with lots of alignment cues. Questions are encouraged! Natalie will provide individual feedback and guidance throughout the workshop. Postures will include: the poses in sun A’s (forward fold/chaturanga/updog / downdog), high and low lung, warrior 1, warrior 2, warrior 3, chair, triangle, side angle, pyramid, backbends and shoulder stand. Natalie will also take requests from students. This workshop is great for people who are new to yoga or seasoned yogi’s that are looking for a little tune-up! Although no props are required for this workshop, if you have yoga blocks or a strap, please have them with you. Since this workshop will be online, participants can use a pillow or dictionary or a band/belt in place of blocks and a strap.
