Yoga Basics Beginner Series

Join us for a Yoga Basics 3 week series at Yoga Heights Takoma, or on Zoom!
These classes are entry level, designed for any one who wants to get into yoga for the first time, get BACK into yoga (we see you!), or simply enhance their knowledge and comfort level on the mat.
Explore the fundamentals of the practice in a friendly, playful environment. In this class you will learn the basic yoga shapes that make up a Sun Salutation (often encountered in a typical yoga class), get personal guidance on the best alignment for your body, and find out how to use props to make challenging postures more accessible.
This one hour workshop is broken up into three sessions. Although you are encouraged to come to all three, you are more than welcome to pop in to one or two without fear of feeling behind.
Seriously, ZERO experience required.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring a yoga mat (or rent one from us for $2) and water.

These classes are held in person at our Takoma studio at 255 Carroll St. NW, or on Zoom if you prefer to practice from home.
