Takoma Bicycle Pedals to a New Takoma Park Location
Takoma Bicycle, a DC area favorite independent bike shop since 2010, is moving from its current location at 7030 Carroll Avenue to a new space just down the street at 7216 Carroll Avenue (formerly Kinetic Artistry). The new location is just a short bike ride from the original shop with more space and an easier entry. Owner Bruce Sawtelle will continue to offer the same wide selection of bicycles – including road, mountain, hybrid, cruiser & folding and kids, plus parts and accessories, clothing, and repair services.

Takoma Bicycle focuses on entry level, recreational, and commuter cyclists. The shop emphasizes repairs and provides the associated accessories average cyclists need to be safe on the road. Takoma Bicycle mechanics have raced mountain, road, and cyclocross bicycles, and can also accommodate the needs of the enthusiast and racer.
