About willowstreetgallery
The Willow Street Gallery is a part of DC Arts Studios. The gallery’s mission is to provide exhibition opportunities for artists and DC Arts Studio members. The gallery is run by a DCAS members-only committee that oversees the schedule of exhibitions, jury selection and installation. The committee also partners with guest curators to present exhibitions on visual arts, artists and art making practices. We offer workshops, multi-discipline events, lectures and artist talks which vary according to our exhibition schedule.
Willow Street Gallery’s inaugural exhibition “New Light” was held in the spring of 2016. Since then, the gallery has had numerous juried exhibitions. We mount between 4 and 6 exhibitions per year. Twice yearly we have a DCAS member exhibition that coincides with the DCAS Open Studio event.
