Write Holiday Letters to Incarcerated Artists

On Saturday, December 3rd from 1 pm to 3 pm, Justice Arts Coalition (JAC) will be hosting a holiday letter writing event at our new office space in Takoma Park (7112 Willow Ave)! We’ll send greetings to incarcerated artists around the country. During the holidays, there is often increased pressure for connection and happiness. And for those on the inside, this time can feel particularly isolating. While it may be small, a simple letter can help alleviate some of that loneliness. All materials, directions for the letters, and music will be provided. Spend time with friends old and new, and engage with some of the incredible art being made inside, around, and about the carceral system.
