Loretta Neumann, wife of the late Daniel Smith, will highlight with photos his amazing life as told in his memoir, published shortly before he died in October 2022, Son of a Slave: A Black Man’s Journey in White America. She will explain how the book came to be written and the process of privately publishing it.
