Local pianist Peter Tavalin improvises a live score to accompany the classic silent film Steamboat Bill, Jr. The film starring Buster Keaton is an icon of American comedy featuring the most famous and dangerous stunt of the era with a two-ton facade of an entire house crashing to the ground around Keaton.
Tavalin has improvised live scores for silent films for more than 40 years at performances across the country. Don’t miss this one-night-only event at the Takoma Park Community Center! No tickets or reservations are required.
