Takoma Native Plant Sale to Benefit Triangle Park

April 10, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for a native plant sale to benefit Triangle Park! (Advance purchase required.)
Triangle Park Native Garden – near the Takoma Metro at the intersection of Blair Rd and 4th St, NW – is a native, pollinator garden that was established in 2013. The garden has matured and many plants now require regular dividing to keep them healthy so we are having a plant sale to fund future park projects!
Each of the plants for sale are native plants (or common cultivars) mostly from the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Each of these plants is uniquely suited to this climate. These divisions can be used to establish other landscapes and gardens.
This garden has already been a source for native plants to establish other native pollinator gardens. In particular, the Blair Road Community Garden in Manor Park has received hundreds of divisions to establish a native garden area on their site.
