Local Author Talk: Bernardine Watson

Award winning local writer Bernardine Watson will speak about her book “Transplant: A Memoir” at the Takoma Park Neighborhood Library of the DC Public Library system. This free event is in the Meeting Room on the lower level of the library.

Copies of “Transplant: A Memoir” are available to check out and download from the DC Public Library system. The book is the winner of the 2023 Inaugural Washington Writers’ Publishing House (WWPH) Creative Nonfiction Award.

Our elevator temporarily is out of service because of major repair work. Attendees can enter through the 5th Street accessible side entrance–please ring the doorbell upon arrival. The Meeting Room is on the lower level of the library.
