HIGH YELLA | A Busboys and Poets Books Presentation

Join us at Busboys and Poets Takoma (235 Carroll St. NW, 20012) to see local author Steve Majors in conversation with WAMU host Michael King. He will be discussing his memoir, HIGH YELLA, and sharing a valuable perspective on what it’s like to be a mixed-race queer man in a black and white America.

This event is free and open to all. Our program begins at 6:00 pm, and will be followed by an audience Q&A. Copies of HIGH YELLA will be available for purchase before and after the event. Please note that this event is in person and will not be livestreamed.
