Exploring the Bluegrass Vocal Sound with Dede Wyland

November 19, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$55

Saturday, November 19, 1:00 – 3:00 PM EST

Looking to develop a “bluegrassier” vocal sound? This workshop is for you!

The workshop will begin with a review of basic vocal tips and techniques that will help to open up your voice, improve range and enhance tone quality.

Secondly, you will learn how to develop an authentic bluegrass vocal sound without distorting or disguising your natural voice. We will focus on the six elements inherent to the bluegrass sound including: vocal production, phrasing, timing, syncopation, ornamentation and finding the right key.

This workshop is open to ages 16+ (students under the age of 16 should speak to us prior to registration).

HEALTH PROTOCOLS
Please note masks are required for all workshop attendees. Students are encouraged to wash hands upon arrival.
