Dinky Line Walking Tour

Join Historic Takoma for a walking tour of the historic Dinky Line. We will trace the trolley route from the intersection of Carroll Avenue and Ethan Allen Avenue (Takoma Junction) down to the site of the Wildwood resort on Sligo Creek. Along the way, we’ll talk about how the short-lived line connected local and DC residents to the resort in the late 1890’s. Meet at the Sycamore Avenue parking lot of the Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op. Please sign up in advance by writing to [email protected] with “Dinky” in the subject line.
