The Community Food Forest Collective and Montgomery College Permaculture Club are hosting another two planting and mulch work parties.
When: May 18-19 from 10am to 2pm.
Where: Montgomery College (Philadelphia and Chicago Ave)
We’ve made great progress, but there is more to do and we’re nearing the end of the planting season so we need to get everything in the ground!
There will be lots to do and learn –
*Planting more edible shrubs and native plants.
*Mulching (because we love mulching and there is still more to do!)
*Learn about fruit trees, berries, and native & medicinal plants
Come help and learn from Master Gardeners, the Students from the MC Permaculture club and our volunteers about the value of planting native plants, and how to plant & care for them!
****SSL hours available*****
Bring water and gloves f you have. We’ll have some gloves on hand and if you have any questions please email Judy at [email protected].
Hope to see you there and thank you for your support!
