The Willow Street Gallery of DC Arts Studios is pleased to announce its second solo exhibition of 2023 featuring works by Mei Mei Chang.
NOISESCAPE II is a reactionary piece to the stressors of everyday life noise pollution on our mental and physical beings.
NOISESCAPE II will run from May 19 to June 18, 2023. An opening reception will take place on May 19, 2023 from 7-9 pm. There is an artist talk scheduled for Friday, May 26 from 7-9 pm. A 2-hr workshop with Mei Mei Chang will take place Saturday, June 3rd from 1-3 pm. In this workshop, participants will create their own Noise Pattern Project from deconstructed music boxes, fabric, and other materials. Enrollment is limited to 10 people. The Gallery will be open Fridays from 7-9 pm during the exhibition.
All events are free and open to the public, with the exception of the June 3rd workshop.
