Join Takoma Park Child Development Center for our spring Family Fun Day. We’ll spend the afternoon together at Opal Daniels Park (rain location: Takoma Park Presbyterian Church).
Children will enjoy pizza, games, bounce houses, the park.
Adults will enjoy the opportunity to purchase beer and wine. We will also have a silent auction with prizes for local businesses such as Washington Nationals Box tickets, Takoma Bev. Co, Motorkat, Zinnia, Tabletop, Carpe Diem, Olive Lounge, Lost Sock Roasters, Yoga Heights and many more.
We strongly encourage you to leave the car at home as there is limited parking. There are Ride-On and WMATA bus routes that pass the park.
Stop by the Olive Lounge anytime between 11:30am-10pm on Thursday, September 22, in support of Crossroads Community Food Network. Enjoy a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian Mediterranean favorites, like za’atar flatbread and the best mezze platter for miles. Plus there’s a Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm!
Crossroads’ board and staff members will be on hand to chat about the organization’s work, which includes Crossroads Farmers Market, the TPSS Community Kitchen, and healthy eating education at schools, gardens, and other community sites throughout Takoma Park. Ten percent of all sales will go toward increasing healthy food access and economic opportunity in our community. See you there!
