Roscoe’s Neapolitan Pizzeria Announces Partnership with Dolci Gelati

Roscoe’s Neapolitan Pizzeria, located at 7040 Carroll Ave, Takoma Park is partnering with Dolci Gelati, formerly of 7000 Carroll Ave, to add a  new gelateria to its restaurant. The gelateria will be located in Roscoe’s street-front side-room previously used for private parties. The newly renovated space will have its own entrance and include a gelato counter with seating, plus small tables and chairs, and will sport Dolci Gelati’s trademark lime green walls. Opening June 2018.

Dolci Gelati’s chef and president, Gianluigi Dellaccio, recently named a global Gelato Ambassador, brings his award-winning gelato back to the Takoma Park community with this new partnership. Chef Dellaccio is overseeing the project and plans to offer 12 flavors of gelato at the shop with a generous number of vegan options, including vegan gelato and a variety of sorbets. In addition, there will be a rotating selection of grab-and-go desserts like tiramisu and chocolate mousse, available for customers to eat in or take out.

Roscoe’s has been serving its Neapolitan-style pizza since 2009 in Takoma Park. A favorite spot for pizza as well as handmade pastas, charcuterie plates, paninis, homemade soups and salads and more. The restaurant is open during construction.
