Art Hop & Wine Online

UPDATE JANUARY 2022:
WE ARE TAKING AN ART HOP BREAK IN 2022. WITH THE CURRENT STATE OF THE PANEDMIC, INDOOR EVENTS ARE HARD TO PLAN FOR. CHECK OUT OUR OTHER OUTDOOR MARKETS AND EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

We are taking Art & Wine Hop online! Join us as we highlight our local businesses while celebrating Takoma’s lively arts scene during Art Hop & Wine Online, Saturday and Sunday April 25-26, 2020.

Local Art
Stay here and explore our website where we’ve virtually hung the work of local artists inside Takoma businesses and at select outdoor spots for you to enjoy right from your very own living room.

Live Music
Join us all weekend April 25 and 26 on our Facebook Event or Instagram where we’ll highlight participating artists, host live music and have local shopping and dining features all weekend long. (Pages are public so you do not need an account).

While you browse, listen to live streamed music and dance tunes all weekend by Takoma Park radio station, WOWD. Listen HERE. Plus performances by local musicians. See EXPLORE tab above.

Wine Hop
Grab a glass while you explore the art. Enjoy wine delivered right to your door from participating businesses. See DRINK THE WINE tab above.

Support Local Businesses and Artists
Follow the links to local businesses’ and support them during this very difficult time (take out, online shopping, online classes and gift cards) and access artist information to purchase art. Please also consider donating to the Takoma Micro-Grant Fund for COVID Relief for Takoma Businesses and the DONATE.

Order a print from No Plan Press and 100% of profits go to the Takoma Micro-Grant Fund for COVID Relief and the Takoma Park Small Business Mini-Grant Fund.

No Plan Press’ Jess Kirsch creates letterpress prints by hand one at a time on an antique 19th-century printing press right here in Takoma Park. The slight variations in color and texture of each print is what makes the letterpress printing process unique. Each print measures 8″x10″ and comes signed and numbered. $20 each.
