Takoma Park (Alternative) Folk Festival

With the theme of “voices heard”, the Takoma Park Festival is going online!  Offering 6 hours of programming which includes original recordings and archival footage, plus exhibits from artisans, and community organizations working for social justice.  Enjoy the soul trio Big Little Band headed by Takoma’s own Marc Evans; North American traditional music from Lisa Null; Americana from Naked Blue; remarkable guitarist Yasmin Williams; the gypsy jazz of Orchester Praževica; and folk-funk-rockers Most Savage Gentlemen… and much more!  Two consecutive Sundays, September 13 and 20, at 7pm.  Streaming details will be provided soon at www.tpff.org
