Takoma Clean Up Day

Join Main Street Takoma for a morning of gardening and clean up in the Takoma Commercial District – MD and DC.
We are forming gardening teams to work Triangle Park, BY Morrison Park and mulching tree beds throughout the commercial district. Teams will do general clean up and spread mulch under the supervision a gardening leader.
(Volunteers for BY Morrison Park is asked to stay through 12:00noon).
In addition, we’ll be picking up trash along streets and sidewalks to make Takoma sparkle.
Three meet up locations:
1.) Roscoe the Rooster Statue on Laurel Ave (across from 6927 Laurel Ave)
2.) Triangle Park at 4th and Blair Roads, NW (across from 6914 4th St, NW)
3.) BY Morison Park at the Takoma Junction (across from 201 Ethan Allen Ave)
