Beginning Guitar Class

– Held at HMT’s Lessons Studio (7010 Westmoreland Ave, Takoma Park, MD)
Cost: $100 per 4-week session

This fun and relaxed class is the perfect way to see what playing guitar is all about. School of Musical Traditions teacher Noah Gitlis will teach chords, strumming patterns, and basic guitar theory. You’ll be playing along to your favorite songs in no time!
This class is geared towards adult and high school learners starting at the very beginning. Students under the age of 16 should speak to us prior to registration.
Participants will need their own guitar (acoustic steel string or nylon string preferred, but electric is OK. Small amplifiers can be provided if needed – let us know when registering). Stop in or contact us for advice on choosing one for purchase or rental.
