The team behind Scissor & Comb Salon is excited to announce Georgie’s Barber: a five chair barbershop coming soon to 6929 Laurel Avenue, in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Opening in Spring 2019, Georgie’s Barber is family & resident-owned and operated by Cortney and Ian Palmiero. The shop will be managed by barber John Riley, a Takoma Park resident since 2004. Related – and a fun piece of TKPK history – Georgie’s Barber will be located on the same block of Laurel Avenue as Frank’s Modern Barbershop once was.

Georgie’s Barber is proud to join the incredible lineup of retail and service providers that make up the Takoma Park business community, and it is with gratitude that the Palmiero family looks forward to opening doors, and welcoming TKPK friends and neighbors to the new shop.
