The popular Takoma Park Street Festival returns for another year of music, vendors, food and fun in Takoma Park on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm on Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park, MD to Carroll Street, NW in Takoma, DC. Festival goers will enjoy the day exploring over 200 vendors booths, live music from 18 local bands, children’s activities, food trucks and more. Plus Takoma’s unique shops, restaurants and cafes are all open and welcoming visitors.
All day, festival goers can catch 18 free performances on 3 stages throughout the festival. Acoustic folk, Celtic, rockabilly Afrofunk and more – from a mix of local favorites including The Pigeon Kings, The Nighthawks, Chopteeth, Virginia and the BlueDots, the Rock-a-sonics, Wicked Sycamore and more.
Vendors include local artisans, non-profits, green companies and a variety of community groups. Over 20 different food vendors are participating with lobster rolls to BBQ and ice cream to falafel and everything in between.
The Crawl is back! Festival attendees may purchase commemorative Takoma beer mugs good for discounted pours inside participating businesses during and after the festival.
