Our mission is bringing together businesses, residents and community organizations dedicated to developing a vibrant market center, from the Takoma Junction, Maryland, to the Takoma Theatre, DC, to enhance our unique and historic town setting. Your donation will go toward promoting local, independently-owned businesses, sponsoring concerts and other events, buying flowers for the Old Takoma area, recruiting and retaining businesses, and much more.

Locally-owned, independent businesses are an essential part of the fabric of a community. They help to underscore the identity of a place, provide opportunities for people to work and create, contribute to local activities and fund-raisers, and support other local businesses.
